We keep our diary deliberately light. Fewer bookings a day means your artist is never rushing to the next face, your lash map is drawn for your eye shape alone, and every fan is placed — not dropped — onto a single healthy natural lash.
Vella sits above the cafés of Jalan Telawi, a five-minute walk from Bangsar Village. Since opening we have quietly become the studio Bangsar residents recommend to each other in group chats rather than on billboards.
No conveyor belt, no upselling script. Just a quiet room, a warm blanket and a plan drawn around your eyes.

We look at your natural lashes or brow growth, your daily routine and the photos you bring, then agree on a realistic shape together.
2. The mapping
Lengths, curls and angles are marked out for each zone of the eye or brow before any product touches you.
3. The quiet part
You lie back — most guests fall asleep — while your artist works lash by lash. Classic sets take about 100 minutes, volume up to 150.
4. The reveal & the ritual
A mirror, a lesson in aftercare, and a cleanser kit to take home. We book your infill before you float out the door.

Questions we hear at the front desk
Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
Not when they are applied correctly. We isolate every natural lash and match extension weight to what that lash can carry. Damage comes from cluster lashes, poor isolation and picking — none of which happen here.
How long does a full set last?
Your natural lashes shed on a four-to-six-week cycle and the extensions ride along with them. Most guests book an infill every two to three weeks to stay consistently full.
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
Please arrive with clean eyes if you can. Mascara, liner and heavy SPF around the eyes leave residues that weaken adhesive bonds. If you rush in from the office, we will cleanse — it just borrows minutes from your lashing time.
Is there anything I cannot do after a lash lift?
For the first 24 hours keep the lashes dry and free of steam, saunas and rubbing. After that, swim, cry and shower as you please — the curl is set for six to eight weeks.
I have sensitive eyes. Can you still work on me?
Usually yes. We stock a low-fume adhesive and offer a complimentary patch test 48 hours before your first appointment. Tell us about allergies or recent eye surgery when you book.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Rarely — the diary is intentionally small. Book through the contact page or call us; last-minute cancellations are posted to our WhatsApp list first.
How should I prepare for brow lamination?
Grow your brows out for at least two weeks beforehand if you can bear it. The more hair we have to work with, the fuller and fluffier the final brushed-up shape will be.
