Cookie Policy

Last revised: 14 June 2026

This site uses a deliberately small number of cookies. This page lists every one of them, in plain language, together with what happens when you accept or decline.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember something about your visit — a login, a preference, or in our case, mostly just the fact that you have already answered our cookie banner.

Cookies we set

  • vlb_consent — remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the banner does not reappear on every page. Lives for 180 days. This cookie is strictly necessary and is set only after you make a choice.
  • PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID) — a temporary, strictly necessary cookie that protects our booking form against forged submissions. It contains a random identifier, nothing personal, and is deleted when you close your browser.

Third-party requests

Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Font requests do not set cookies on this site, but Google receives the standard technical details of the request (such as your IP address). No analytics, advertising or social media cookies are used anywhere on learnsmith.my.

Accepting and rejecting

On your first visit a banner offers Accept and Reject. Because we run no optional cookies at present, both choices currently lead to the same minimal set described above — the choice is stored so that if we ever introduce optional cookies, your preference will already be respected.

Changing your mind

Click the small gear button in the lower-left corner of any page to reopen the banner and choose again. You can also delete cookies for this site in your browser settings at any time; the banner will simply reappear on your next visit.

Browser controls

Every modern browser lets you block or clear cookies entirely. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent the booking form from submitting, since we cannot then verify the request came from you.
